Why these models are so special
BelleModels is not a free-for-all model site. Unlike most other internet contests, they were not selected by public votes only. I hand-picked these models based on a variety of factors, including:
- Looks
I am looking for models who are glamourous-stylish or classy-smart, albeit sexy rather than natural-looks, the-girl-next-door or overtly-raunchy. - Personality
I am looking for models who are a joy to work with (friendly, responsive, communicate clearly and effectively, confident, comfortable with herself and what she is doing). My opinion of her personality may change for the better or the worse, from 1 contest to the next, as I get to know her better. I judge her application form, emails and feedback from the public. I do not judge her age, race, sexual orientation or background. - Intelligence
I deliberately made the application process complicated. - Seriousness
I designed the contest in such a way that it is very difficult for a model to win first time; most models have to enter the contest a few times before they will manage to win. - Qualifications

Although I do not penalize models who vote for themselves, the voting system is designed so that it is very difficult for a model to vote herself to winning. Unless a model has a large fan base, votes will not have a significant impact on her final points.
They tend to be experienced, semi-professional models in their late 20s. They are the type of models whom you can reliably contact via the internet for internet and other types of serious model jobs.
